Mastering Exposure Photography Course

Responsibilities: Instructional Designer, eLearning Developer, Graphic Designer, Subject Matter Expert

Tools used: Storyline 360, Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, Camtasia

Client: University of Wisconsin-Stout

Audience: Adult learners

Overview + Challenge: For my final graduate certificate assignment, we were asked to create an eLearning module that could be used at the end of a course. The module needed to include a way for learners to practice previously learned information, a short assessment, and a part of the course that involved a branching decision.

Solution: Being a trained photographer, I thought making a camera scenario would be a great project. As I planned it out, I knew I wanted to include a camera dial with variables built in so the learner could see how their input impacted the final image in real time. Having a dial that could be manipulated also added a layer of interactivity. Branching decisions were programmed into the variables so that each learner's choice leads to a different outcome.
