Ice Cream Machine Cleaning and Maintenance Course

Overview + Challenge: Managers reported that the store ice cream machines were continually breaking down and needing repair. Analysis revealed that most employees had never received any training beyond a technical manual on cleaning and maintaining the machines. Training solutions needed to be accessed quickly and easily by 3,000 employees across 16 states.

Solution: I created this course to train store employees on the proper cleaning and maintenance of ice cream machines. I filmed all the steps involved and then carefully curated a video playlist that covered all the necessary steps in a visually engaging way. I built a custom menu in Illustrator to give users freedom to navigate the course and also enable employees to take short micro-learning modules when they have available time.
